Hi, I’m Devon Bernadette, the illustrator and designer behind DB Goods. I create colorful, whimsical illustrations and print products that blend nostalgic charm with a contemporary twist.  

 

My first exposure to pop art sparked my fascination with vibrant visuals, paving the way for my journey into design. I developed an appreciation for the unique and fun designs of decades past, everything from mid century modern interiors to eclectic band posters and all things colorful and bold.  

 

After earning my degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Seattle in 2011, I worked for an advertising publication in Spokane, WA. However, after working in the world of production design for several years, I found that I missed the joy of creating art just for fun.  

 

I found myself leaning more into my love of vintage décor and even started working at a vintage store which surrounded me with so much inspiration that it fueled my design evolution. I started drawing again, focusing on subjects that brought me happiness and helped refine my style.  

 

Delighting in the joy and nostalgia my art evoked in others, I took a significant step in 2023, transforming my passion into a profession, and giving rise to the creation of DB Goods.
